- Log into the internet banking page using the username and password.
- Open the registration link for updating of the 12 digit Aadhaar number and enter the credentials as per the Aadhaar card.
- Confirm the Aadhaar number and then submit the application.
- After the verification is completed the individual will get a notification that the verification is completed via SMS or Email.
Steps for Linking Aadhaar card to bank using offline methods
The following are the steps to linking Aadhaar card with the bank account
- Make sure that the original and photocopy of the Aadhaar and bank passbook are available with you and visit the nearest branch.
- Download or obtain the Aadhaar linking form and fill the details accordingly.
- Submit these details to the local branch officer who is in charge of these linking process.
- The officer will verify the details and give the slip that is at the bottom of the application form as an acknowledgement.
Once the linking is done the individual will get a notification regarding this through a message to Email or SMS.
