Apply for a Cheque Book
There are mainly two ways. They are described below-
Online Process
- Customers can request a cheque book for various types of accounts via Online Internet Banking. For this, they need to have an Internet Banking Account in State Bank of India to request a Cheque Book.
- Internet Banking is a very easy and fast process.Anyone can use this service for quicker transactions.They don’t need to visit at the branch office. After registering on internet banking, just login to your account using your login id and password. Visit https://www.onlinesbi.com/.
- Then go to “e-services” option. Under this tab, look for “Cheque Book” option.Then select the account number and confirm it. You will receive your cheque book on your registered address.
- You can also use “State Bank Anywhere” for this. Just log in and go to request page, then select cheque book request, after providing your account details you will receive your cheque book.
Offline Process
- You can also request a cheque book via offline method. All you have to do is to visit the nearest branch of the State Bank of India.
- There you need to contact accounts manager. After that they will provide you a form. Just fill up the form carefully. After submitting the form,you will receive a confirmation SMS with your registered mobile number.
- Upon successful confirmation, you will receive your cheque book at your registered address.
