Nainital Bank was established in the year 1922 by Govind Ballabh Pant and is currently a subsidiary of the Bank of Baroda, a public sector bank. Bank of Baroda acquired 99% stakes in the bank in the year 1975. Nainital Bank has a total of 135 branches in the states of Uttarakhand, UP, Rajasthan, Delhi and Haryana.
It is listed as a Scheduled Commercial Bank by the Reserve Bank of India, the central bank of India. Nainital Bank has become a Ten Thousand Crore Company called TTC.

Complaint procedure
Complaint can be made online by visiting the official website of the bank www.nainitalbank.co.in The complaint is sent to the concerned branch manager for resolution. The emphasis is on swift redressal of the complaint.
If the customer is not satisfied with the redressal at the level of the branch manager, he/she can take up the issue with the nodal officer at the head office who has been authorized to deal with the complaints.
