Tamilnad Mercantile Bank is using the platform of technology for providing the convenience of anywhere banking through TMB- Mobile Banking. With this mobile banking, its customers can use the banking services from their mobile devices also without going to their branch.
How to activate Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Mobile Banking?
The customers go through many stages for activating their Mobile Banking. The customer will submit the fully filled application to their home branch of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Mobile Banking. After that, the home branch sends this application to IT department after validating and confirming all the information are correct.
Then the IT department will process the application form and once all the particulars provided by the customers are confirmed, then they will get an SMS on the mobile number of customer. This mobile number should be registered with the bank.
The bank will send the MPIN via speed post on the registered address of the customer within a week. On receiving the PIN, he will send the message of ‘DOWNLOAD’ to 9282112225.

On sending the message, the customer will get the one activation code along with download link via SMS. This activation code is 8 characters alpha numeric code. When you will see this alpha numeric code, then in starting you will have alpha, in the middle which 6th and 7th number you will have numeric and in the last you will again have characters.
On clicking on the download link, a page will open and the customer will select the language of his choice. Them he will select the manufacturer of his mobile device which is followed by selecting the mobile number. After that in the end, he will get the notification of Download and install file and then they have to click on Continue button. Now, they will install the application on their handsets. Now, on successful installation, they will open the application and will enter the activation code which they have received earlier.
After the successful login, they will get the option of changing PIN in which they will enter the old PIN and new PIN of their choice. A PIN is a 4 digit code.
After the successful creation of new PIN, they can access the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Mobile Banking and go for following:
