- Type CARDBLOCK <SPACE> XXXX. XXXX stands for the last 4 digits of your account number.
- Send the SMS to 56161.
This is another convenient method of blocking the ATM/Debit card by simply sending an SMS. The card would be blocked instantly without any hassles.
Call customer care
The customers can also contact the Andhra Bank Customer Care executives and request them to block the ATM/Debit card. The helpline number is 1800-425-1515. The customer care executive would instantly act upon your request and block the card.
Visit the bank branch
Customers who are not able to block their cards using the above mentioned methods or face some issues with the blocking process can visit their home branch and contact the bank officials. The concerned bank officials help in resolving the issues and block the card instantly.

Unblocking
Andhra Bank ATM/Debit card gets blocked automatically if you do no enter the correct PIN in three attempts. In such a case, the card remains blocked for 24 hours and is reset after this time period. If the card is not unblocked even after 24 hours, the customer can call the toll free number 1800-425-1515.
The customer should remember the pin at all times because it is not advisable to write down the pin number. It must be entered correctly to avoid blocking.
