Green Pin is a Personal Identification Number that is available with the self-service option for the customers of banks. They can generate the PIN from OBC bank ATM. The PIN is a four digit number which is referred as Personal Identification Number assigned to Debit Card ATM card holder of the Oriental Bank of Commerce for the purpose of POS/ATM Transactions. The cardholder has to enter these 4 digit pin every time when he is required to avail the facility of POS/ATM services.
How To Generate/Change OBC Bank ATM Debit Card PIN
Option A
The cardholder will visit the nearest branch of OBC ATM for generating ATM PIN. Firstly, he will choose the option of PIN management from the menu displaying on the screen of ATM. He will choose the option of Green PIN on the OBC bank ATM for generating the ATM Card PIN. But the cardholder must ensure that he should have registered mobile number before availing this option of GREEN PIN.
Scenario 1
- One has to choose OTP Generation.
- Then, the cardholder will get the OTP of 6 digit number on his registered mobile number. When you get the OTP, then it will be valid only for 5 minutes and after that its validity will expire.
- Enter the 6 digit OTP in ATM
- If the correct OTP is entered, then the individual is prompted for entering a new PIN.
- He will enter the 4 digit PIN of his choice.
- Confirm his chosen 4 digit PIN.
Scenario 2
- One has to choose OTP Generation.
- Then, the cardholder will get the OTP of 6 digit number on his registered mobile number. When you get the OTP, then it will be valid only for 5 minutes and after that its validity will expire.
- An individual has to select the option of OTP Validation.
- Enter the 6 digit OTP in ATM
- If the correct OTP is entered, then the individual is prompted for entering a new PIN.
- He will enter the 4 digit PIN of his choice.
- Confirm his chosen 4 digit PIN.
Option 2: Through Parent Branch
The candidates have to go through the process of application form from any of the branch of OBC for PIN reissuance request.
They will submit the application form to that branch which has issued their card. After 4-5 days, they will get their PIN from that OBC branch which has issued their card.

How Absurd it is! One have only single option.like SBI there should be many alternative to generate PIN.why so called customer friendly obc gives other options.
IE options as NET banking …through net banking or SMS SBI new debit cardholder can genrate PIN without visiting and waiting in queues at ATM.
OBC should follow SBI in this matter if it wants to be customer friendly in reality.
