How To Change/Update Mobile Number in United Bank of India (UTBI) Online

The United Bank of India has its headquarters at Kolkata.  It is one of the 14 major banks that were nationalized in 1969. At present, the number of branches of the bank that is spread throughout India stands at 2054. The United Bank is also a collection Bank for the schemes of the central government such as Prime Minister’s National relief fund.

Changing/updating the mobile number online

If you have an account at United Bank of India, it is important to ensure that you have updated your mobile number. It is because, you will receive sms alerts only through this mobile number. In case of NEFT/RTGS transfers too, the OTP will be sent only to this number. In case you have changed the number also, it s important for you to intimate the bank about the change.

How to do it online?

There are two methods to do it.

The first method is through your net banking facility.

• The process is simple. You will have to visit the official website of the bank: https://www.unitedbankofindia.com
• You should login to your account using your credentials.
• You should download the application for changing the mobile number.
• It is usually in the form of a letter to the manager. Yo should fill the new mobile number and upload the letter

The second method is through the ATM using your debit card

Swipe your debit card at the ATM machine. Choose the mobile no, update option in the menu list. Enter your mobile number and press the confirm button. Your number will be updated within 2 working days.
