In order to block the Central Bank of India card through SMS, there are two methods

• If you remember the card number- SMS Lost <space> card no. to 9967533228 from the mobile number that has been registered with the bank.
• If you do not remember the card number- SMS Lost<space> Account No to 9967533228 from the mobile number registered with the bank

The card will be blocked and this will prevent the performance of any transaction to be made using the card.

You can block the debit card in case you have lost it or if it is stolen by calling the following three numbers

1800 200 1911. This service is available 24 X7 and is toll-free

If by chance, you are not able to block the card using these methods, you will have to visit the Central Bank of India Home branch to get it blocked.

How to Unblock Central Bank of India ATM Debit Card?

It varies from bank to bank. The simplest one being visiting the home branch and giving the requisition letter for the same. Another method is to avail the services of customer care through email or phone. however, the card that has been blocked due to the wrong pin number will get unblocked without any action after a period of 24 hours.
