Aadhar card is one of the important identity proofs and now government of India made it mandatory to link with the bank account. You can link Aadhar card online as well as offline too.

Guidelines for online Aadhar card linking to bank of India account
For online linking you must have internet banking facility with user id and password.
Step1: Open the official site of bank of India. Here is the link https://www.bankofindia.co.in/
Step 2 : Login to internet banking .
Step3: Go to the home page and click on the link “Registration of Aadhar number in internet banking”.
Step 4: Enter the Aadhar number and confirm it.
Step 5: Select the account for which you want to link.
Step6: To know about the linking status click on “Inquiry”.
Guidelines for offline Aadhar card linking to bank of India account
For offline you need to have the Aadhar linking form.
Step 1: Download the form and take a print out or collect from the bank.
Step 2: Take the original and xerox copy of your Aadhar card.
Step 3: Visit your near by bank of India branch and submit the documents.
Step4: Bank officials will verify your documents and return the original document.
Step 5: After verification bank officials will give you the lower part of the form.
Step 6: After linking your will get the confirmation message in your registered mobile number.
