If you have a Bank Account with SBI then it is possible for you to apply for a new SBI ATM Debit Card Online. This card can be a replacement to your existing card or this card can also be a new card if you do not have a debit card for your account.
You can also choose to get an Add-On card with help of this facility available for SBI Customer Care.
Here is how you can apply for SBI ATM Debit Card Online.
=> You can begin the process by launching the internet banking portal for SBI Banking. If you do not know the link of SBI Internet Banking then you may visit here: https://www.onlinesbi.com/ to launch the website.
=> Proceed to the next step by logging in to the internet banking portal of the internet banking.
=> Once you have logged in, you can then proceed by clicking on e-Services from the top menu bar. A set of options will now be displayed on the new page.
=> From these set of options, select Request ATM Debit Card and after selecting the option, you will get to choose the validation option. You can choose from the OTP validation or profile password validation. Select the one as per your convenience.
=> After selecting the validation procedure, validate your account with OTP or with Profile Password.
=> Post validation, select the primary SBI Account and enter the name that you would like to Print on the SBI ATM Debit Card. You can also select the type of card you want.
=> In the next step, check the box corresponding to I Accept Terms and Conditions and click on submit button. You can also go through the Terms and Conditions from the same option there.
=> You will now receive an acknowledgment message in regards to the application of new SBI Card and you will also receive the tracking number once the card has been dispatched by the State Bank of India.
This was the procedure to get the SBI ATM Debit Card online and if you do not have your address updated with the bank then you would have to visit the branch and get the address updated before you can actually request for a card. It could take up to 3 to 4 working days to get the address updated and the standard timeline for getting the card delivered to your home is 7 working days.
