The Eligibility Criteria for American Express credit card are as follows-
- The age of the customer should be above 18 years.
- American Express offers credit card facility for all the customer who have earned Rs.6, 00,000 per annum or above. The income slip is needed for the employees of a public limited or government salaried person for authenticity purpose. The facility is same for the self-employed person. Balance sheet for every year is needed for a self-employed person to show the genuineness of the income sources.
- The customer should have no imbursement defaults.
- The customer should have a good credit score.
Documents needed for credit card
The documents which needed for getting American express Bank credit card are as follows-
For salaried customer
- Pass port size photographs.
- Proof of Identity
Under this you can submit-Pan card, Driving License, Passport. All documents need to be self-attested.
- Proof of address
Under this you can submit-Driving License, passport, voter id and Aadhar card.
- Proof of Income
You have to submit two months’salary slip along with salary account bank statement and form 16 or current ITR form V.
For self-employed customers
- Pass port size photographs.
- Proof of Identity

You need to submit pan card Xerox copy or form 60.
