Aadhar Card is a twelve digit number which is provided by the Unique Identification Authority of India. This is one of the most important documents for the citizens of India in these days as it is considered as the proof of identity and is also the proof of address.
In these days, the Vijaya Bank has asked its customers to link Aadhar Card to their account. One can link Aadhar card with both online and offline methods.
How to link Aadhar card through the online process?
For linking Aadhar card with the bank account, you will need to go to the official website of the Vijaya Bank https://www.vijayabank.com/Help-Desk/Aadhaar-Status
Then you will be asked to log-in and then you can use your password and user ID to log in but if you haven’t been registered, then you can sign up on the website. After that, you will need to click on the link where it is written, ‘Update your Aadhar number’. You will need to enter the 12-digit number after which the bank would ask for the confirmation with details. After the Aadhar card has linked, you will receive an email or SMS.
How to link Aadhar card through the offline process?
If you don’t have access to the internet or you want to use the offline process because of some reasons, then you can go to the nearest branch of the Vijaya Bank where you will be able to get the application form to link Aadhar card to your account. After filling the form, you will need to submit the photocopies of the Aadhar card and your passbook. The original copy would be asked for the confirmation. After the verification of the documents, your Aadhar card will be linked to your account and you will receive the details regarding it on your mobile phone.
